Whether you’re planning a huge destination wedding or an intimate ceremony with a few loved ones, a travel agent is key to making everything go smoothly. Paradise Weddings and Travel has decades of experience “marrying” couples in the United States, Mexico, and throughout the Caribbean. We have built relationships with trusted vendors and their wedding teams and as your agent, I will be in constant contact with them and you as we plan and coordinate your wedding.
A destination bride myself, I know how daunting it can feel to try and plan a wedding in another country. As your travel planner, my role is to take the stress out of the entire process so you can focus on finding your dress and fine-tuning your guest list!
My first contact with the bride and groom will enable me to listen to your desires and vision for your wedding. This helps me tailor a shortlist of options, personalized to your style, budget, and location preferences, for you to look through and consider. Once you have made your resort selection, I will be in touch with the resort’s onsite wedding coordination team to arrange your wedding date, ceremony time, and ceremony/reception locations. I will act as a liaison between you and the resort for the entire process.
If your wedding group size is applicable, I will contact our groups wholesaler to get the best rates available for your guests. With a group contract, we will secure a block of rooms, including amenities for the bride and groom that are offered through the hotel. The group contract allows your guests to pay a minimum deposit to hold their room choice and will guarantee their room reservation to attend your wedding.
Clear communication and detailed organization are key to a stress-free and enjoyable destination wedding so you will have a password-protected RSVP spreadsheet available on this website, which you can share with your guests. This spreadsheet will also be shared with the onsite wedding coordinator so she can help the bride and groom build the wedding package to accommodate the guests who RSVP.
